Site Pages

LemonStand has a built in Content Management System (CMS) that makes it easy for nontechnical users to create and publish content, including blog posts, site pages, announcements and more.

LemonStand's CMS also includes an easy visual editor for site pages.  Site pages are great for managing the more static pages of your site, like about pages, contact pages, privacy policies, etc.

Create and Edit a Site Page

To create a new site page go to Content > Site pages in your LemonStand admin panel and click “New Entry”. To edit an existing page, simply click on the list entry for the page you'd like to edit.

Using Shortcodes in Site Pages

You can also use shortcodes when writing content for your store. A shortcode is shorthand for quickly linking to products and adding complex elements to your posts. You can use shortcodes to add:

  • Inline links to products (e.g., Hairbands)
  • Content blocks with product details (including a "buy now" button and product image)
  • Other content blocks based on Widget Templates.

A shortcode is typed into your content like any other text (like the example post above), and looks like:

[ shortcode: parameter-1, parameter-2, etc. ]

You can find more details on Content shortcodes in our theme customization guide, including a list of available shortcodes, their parameters, and tips for fitting content embedded with shortcodes into the visual style of your store.
